Lois
Lois grew up in Honolulu and is currently living in Ewa Beach. She went to Farrington High School where she claims she learned the facts of life. She continues to keep in touch with her Governor ‘sistahs’ and ‘braddahs’. In 2003, Lois started as a volunteer at Ohana Veterinary Hospital and saw her first surgery. She said, “This is NOT for me!” But with the guidance of Dr. Kam, June and Darlene (the first three to open Dr. Kam’s practice), she overcame her fear and woozy stomach feelings and ventured on in her animal-loving career. Lois has SEVEN pets! She has 2 cats, Midori Ann and Harrison Ford. Her five dogs’ names are Amai, Rylee Ann, Tono-Sama Zerillious, Akiko Maria Toonta and Hattori Hanzo. Her hobbies are cooking for her husband Dave (who is her guinea pig), sewing, fishing and just taking in a relaxing day at the beach with her best buddy and grandson, Dallas (aka BoomBoom).
Jeannie
Jeannie grew up almost everywhere on Oahu but ended up living in Kaneohe. Before Jeannie became a part of the Ohana, she volunteered/offered help at the Hawaii Pet Expo and loved the people she worked with. During this time, she was caring for her parents and became an expert in the cleaning department and was hired to work at Ohana Veterinary Hospital (in picking up poop!). She has developed a lot of other skills as well while working here. Jeannie has three pets: a head-strong Rottweiler Mix named Mamoru, a sassy Miniature Pinscher Mix named Chika and a typical stand-off cat named Naomi. Her hobbies are traveling, cooking, sewing and spending time with her grandchildren.
