Dr. Jennifer Nishimura
Dr. Nishimura was born and raised in Honolulu. She graduated from Kalani High School, did her undergraduate studies at the University of Hawaii at Manoa, and obtained her DVM at Washington State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2014. She began her veterinary career at Banfield Pet Hospital in Puyallup, Washington, where she practiced for two years. In 2017, Dr. Nishimura returned home to Hawaii where she has practiced ever since.
Dr. Nishimura primarily focuses on the health and well being of dogs and cats, ensuring each pet receives attentive and personalized care. She also offers basic wellness services for select exotic pets like guinea pigs. Dr. Nishimura has special interests that include soft tissue surgery, wound management, dentistry, and preventative care.
Outside of being a veterinarian, Dr. Nishimura’s other passions comprise of gardening, running, cooking, and looking after her own menagerie of four dogs, five cats, and assortment of carnivorous plants.
